In 1968, renowned Chicago designer John Massey created a set of ultra-graphic, geometrically powerful banners that hung on Michigan Avenue. Marking the 50th anniversary of this remarkable public design project and celebrating Massey’s legacy, the Design Museum of Chicago reproduced the banners for display on State Street in August 2018. The banner is paired with a Design Museum of Chicago membership.
