City of Big Dreams is one of our two annual fundraising events where we collaborate with artists and our own students to celebrate the 'simple good' of Chicago. All money raised allows us to deliver The Simple Good Art Residency Program into our Chicago communities. This year, the City of Big Dreams fundraiser strives to reach a goal of $60,000 to support 500 students in underprivileged communities as they transition back to in-person learning.

"This piece is inspired by the role that dreaming plays in our journey of life. It begins within us. As youngsters we begin to imagine who we could be and how we will impact the world. Our dreams often begin with our roles in our own communities and can take us to a world beyond." - Sam Kirk
Every purchase supports The Simple Good’s mission to bring positivity into the lives of young people through art and discussion, empowering them to become change makers and mindful leaders.
To connect the meaning of ‘good’ from around the world to empower youth to bring positivity into communities through art and discussion.
Through Social Emotional Learning and Mindfulness based youth art programming and public art projects, we transcend the message that no matter where you go in the world, good means the same to all of us – and that is what connects us as human beings.
The Simple Good (TSG) Arts Residency Program combines mediation, self-awareness, global consciousness, art expression and relationship building to foster positivity within our students, empowering them to become change makers and mindful leaders in the future.
